Today I washed, dried, and put away 3 loads of laundry. That doesnt really seem like a big deal but for the last year motivation has been a real finite resource. I also got over 90K steps last week, drank a gallon of water a day, meal prepped (and stuck to it), made dinner every night, and went to bed at a decent hour.

Watching members of my family struggle with "the new normal", working from home, having all my IRL friends turn into COVID scolds, my gym closed, and the constant fear of confrontation (i really hate confrontation) because we dont follow some dumb arbitrary rules led to bad habits, anxiety, and minor depression.

I feel like I am one of the lucky ones because I climbed out of it, and my closest family members did too.

Check up on your loved ones, kids.
